We are delighted to announce our annual Write for Rights evening taking place on Monday 9th December at 7.30pm in Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff.
Every year, we encourage you to write messages of support to people around the world who have suffered injustice. What could be better than posting a card or letter to just some of the millions of men, women children rising against injustice – and paying a heavy price as a consequence.
This year we will also be drawing attention to a group of Eritrean Journalist who ‘disappeared’ in 2001. We are pleased to announce that an exhibition of portraits of some of these journalists will be displayed on the evening. We are grateful to Pen Eretria for commissioning this artwork and as always to Chapter Arts Centre for their support.
We will provide cards, materials and even the pens – you just need to turn up to make a difference! You can find directions to Chapter here.
